Bioluminescent and Fluorescent Lentivectors

Molecular imaging in vivo with firefly luciferase, fluorescent proteins (GFP/RFP), and thymidine kinase provides a non-invasive and accurate method to track cell fate after cell transplantation in small animals. Use BLIV lentiviral vectors to generate stable cell lines. Lenti-based BLIV vectors can be used as regular plasmid DNA with a transient transfection protocols for preliminary experiments. For high efficient gene delivery, the BLI lentivectors can be packaged into pseudoviruses and used to infect most cell types both in vitro and in vivo.
