The human leukocyte antigen-B*27 (HLA-B*27), one of the HLA-B genotypes, is closely related to Ankylosing spondylitis which causes inflammation of the spondylathritis and pericoxitis. Around 95% of Ankylosing spondylitis patients have been found to have the HLA-B*27 genes.

This kit utilises real-time PCR technology and comes with internal control.
